
Alfardan Automobiles, the official importer of the BMW Group in Qatar, celebrated BMW M Motorsport’s remarkable achievement during the opening round of the 2025 World Endurance Championship at the Qatar 1812 km race. The BMW M Team WRT secured third place in the LMGT3 class with the BMW M4 GT3 EVO, while the BMW M Hybrid V8 delivered a strong performance in the Hypercar class, finishing the race in fourth and seventh positions.
The race was held at the Lusail International Circuit from February 26 to 28, with some of the world’s top drivers participating, including Valentino Rossi, Kevin Magnussen, and Ahmad Al-Harthy. The event featured intense competition over 10 hours of thrilling racing.
During the event, a range of high-performance BMW M models were displayed in the fan zone, including the BMW M2 Coupe and the BMW M5 luxury sedan. Visitors had the opportunity to explore the latest innovations in performance, design, and advanced engineering from BMW M Motorsport. Additionally, clients had exclusive access to the BMW M Motorsport team garage, offering a unique behind-the-scenes look at endurance racing.
Alfardan Automobiles also provided a one-of-a-kind experience for racing fans by hosting a special meet-and-greet with the team’s drivers on February 24 at the BMW showroom in West Bay. This gathering allowed clients and media partners to get exclusive autographs and engage in open discussions with the drivers, providing a special opportunity for direct interaction.

In the Hypercar class, the BMW M Hybrid V8 showcased strong performance from qualifying, where Dries Vanthoor secured second place with a time of 1:38.495, marking the team’s best qualifying result to date. During the race, drivers Vanthoor, Magnussen, and Raffaele Marciello excelled, finishing fourth overall, while the second car, driven by Ruben Frijns, René Rast, and Sheldon van der Linde, secured seventh place.
In the LMGT3 class, The Bend Team WRT, led by Augusto Farfus, Timur Boguslavskiy, and Yasser Shahin, secured third place in an exceptional race, after starting from 14th position, thus showcasing the team's strength and competitive ability.
The event concluded with various entertainment activities and family-friendly experiences, including autograph sessions with the drivers and immersive experiences in the fan zone, making it a comprehensive festival for speed and thrill enthusiasts. Al Fardan Automobiles invited BMW and motorsport fans to enjoy world-class endurance racing at Lusail International Circuit and visit the BMW showroom in West Bay to meet the championship drivers.
