Skyline Automotive W.L.L., the official distributor of Genesis in the State of Qatar, celebrates another G70 milestone, taking home the “Best Compact Sport Sedan” at the Qatar Car of the year by Maqina magazine.
Maqina Magazine, which aims to promote vehicles that help develop the automotive industry in the region and cater to the local car enthusiasts, is the first auto publication in Qatar to award the internationally-recognized Genesis G70.

The G70 sets new benchmarks for luxury sport sedans in its class. Whether it is its sleek exterior headlamps or the aesthetic trunk end, the G70 is a vehicle that pays attention to detail. The G70’s advanced performance is also showcased through its Drive mode control system that allows the driver to choose between Comfort, Eco, Sport, Smart or Custom driving.
An 8-speed automatic transmission is also in place, allowing for an exceptional driving experience with ease throughout. The G70 includes an Electronic shift-by-wire lever that is light and compact, especially designed for convenience while providing an aerodynamic experience.
The award-winning vehicle has been recognized by various regional and international magazines and review boards, such as being named “Car of the Year” by Motor Trend and “North American Car of The Year” by an independent jury from North America.
