Automotive enthusiasts, journalists, and VIPs from Qatar met at Losail International Circuit for an exclusive, fun-filled track day hosted by Alfardan Sports Motors – the official importer of Maserati.
In keeping with the spirit of the action-packed event, guests were given the opportunity to test drive and explore Maserati’s latest iconic luxury sports models.
Adding an even more unique touch, Maserati provided guests and participants with the assistance of a team of professional Italian driving instructors for the duration of the track day in order to make the most of their driving experience
During this turbo-charged event, participants were given the chance to get behind the wheels of some of the finest models in the Trident Marque’s lineup; including the Quattroporte, the GranTurismo, the Ghibli, and the Levante with their different variants and trim levels, surely a mind-blowing experience for the guests
“We are very proud to have organized such a unique track day on Losail International Circuit. Driving a Maserati allows you to explore the endless dynamic power that comes from its potent engine. That kind of exceptional performance aided by driving instructors gives you a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to develop as a driver on racetracks, which is why we organized this test drive. Maserati’s loyal clients and enthusiasts have been given the opportunity to celebrate the potential in all our cars as they explore them on the best race track in the region,” said Charly Dagher, General Manager of Alfardan Sports Motors.
Among the vehicles that were test-driven during the day was the 2019 Maserati Quattroporte. The race-bred luxury sedan is available in different trim levels starting with the basic model that packs a 3.0-liter V6 engine and delivers 350 hp, while the top-tier GTS moniker gets a 3.8-liter V8 engine producing a colossal 530 hp.
Maserati Qatar also gave the participants the opportunity to test drive its elegant and exhilarating Ghibli sedan with all its variants that are equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 engine that delivers 350 hp or 430 hp.
Aside from the all-new GranTurismo Sport and MC variants with their 460-hp V8 engine, Levante Trofeo was clearly the center of attention at the high-powered event. Combining drool-inducing design with outstanding off-road capabilities and unique performance, the top-of-the-line Trofeo is powered by a new 3.8-liter twin-turbo V-8 engine delivering 590 hp and 730 Nm peak torque.
