Abu Dhabi Motors will proudly offer two variants of the innovative new model – the BMW X5 xDrive40i with it six-cylinder in-line petrol engine and eight-speed Steptronic transmission; and the eight-cylinder BMW X5 xDrive50i, which serves up an intoxicating blend of prodigious power delivery and signature V8 soundtrack.

The car’s eye-catching design makes a powerful statement. There’s a new, fully-digital instrument cluster with a more contemporary look, while the Harmon Kardon Surround Sound System comes as standard, taking audio perfection to a whole new level. Other new features designed to maximise the feel-good factor and luxurious ambience onboard the BMW X5 include the four-zone air conditioning system and panoramic glass roof, whose clear surface is 30 per cent larger than on the outgoing car. Meanwhile, the Panorama glass roof Sky Lounge generates a very special and exclusive aura when darkness falls, with LED light spreading evenly across the glass surface to illuminate more than 15,000 graphic patterns and generate a display reminiscent of a starlit sky.
