It was only one month ago that HOFELE-Design showed us their version of the Mercedes-Benz GLS 400, at that time they said that they had something a bit “Special” in production.
A ‘Special Edition’ GLS 63 given the HOFELE exterior and interior treatment by the new department at HOFELE called BESPOKE. This vehiclewas designed and commissionedby itsowner to be a unique combination of aggressive sporty design with anultra-high luxury interior finished in Aston Martin Chancellor Red Leather, trimmed in the Maybach style –This perforated and quilted nappa leather with double diamond stitching is becoming aHOFELE trade mark and the deep red leather with the owners initials embossed into the headrests looks fantastic, especially against the black exterior.
Flared wheel arches with custom carbon finishers and the 23” wheels are the most noticeable exterior enhancements. More subtle is the treatment given to the front bumper and rear exhaust valance as well as the rear spoiler. Somehow HOFELE manages to put all the elements together in a way that really enhances the overall design.
We are also told that under the skin there are few surprises, including an advanced exhaust control valve system that makes the already great sounding V8 biturbo sound even more outrageous, but we will have to wait our turn for a test drive to experience it.
HOFELE is a German Tuning company specialising in Mercedes-Benz based vehicles that has been around for over 30 years and is now developing an entirely new range of exterior and interior enhancements for many of Stuttgart’s current and future models. We are told coming soon will be a HOFELE based on the new G – Wagon - can’t wait..!!
